Sound in the Church of the Holy Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky in Pykhtino

Development and implementation of a project to provide sound for the Temple of the Holy Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky in Pykhtino.

Before the finishing work and painting on the walls of the Temple, we installed a speech sound amplification system during services.

After completing the installation of sound equipment in the Temple, the sound reinforcement system was set up.

During development, the following solution for the sound reinforcement system was approved:

- To capture vocals in the Altar area, special wired microphones Shure MX202B/MS and Shure MX1854 were installed;

- to receive a sound signal from the church choir, Shure MX418/C microphones were installed on the Kliros;

- for sound production of the interior of the Temple, Audac ATEO6 acoustic systems were installed. With the help of acoustic systems, it was possible to achieve maximum uniformity inside the Temple.

- the street around the Temple is sounded by horn all-weather acoustic systems Audac CHA660

- the farthest route along the sound cable was for the bell tower, which is sounded by CVGaudio acoustic systems.

Currently, the Temple is open to the public. The Temple's sound reinforcement system increases the volume level and improves speech intelligibility during Orthodox services.

As a rule, acoustic treatment in religious institutions is not intended or permitted. Based on our experience, we have configured the sound reinforcement system and installed speaker systems to provide even sound pressure coverage, with minimal reflections, which improves speech intelligibility.

The main processor with the ability to customize sound signals was Audac M2.
